The history and culture of Mauritius have been shaped by Indian, Arab, African, French, and English influences.
This has resulted in a diverse and unique blend of recipes – many of which can be found at street stalls, making it true street food.
The greatest variety can be found in Port Louis, especially around the market. Our tour combines tradition and culture, history, and local street food.
During the tour, you will get to taste Dal Puri, Roti, Farata, Samoussas, and fried vegetables. Bryani and Halim are just as much a must as Alouda and Mauritian dumplings.
