The day In the South
The day in the south has been a part of our English speaking program for many years and takes you to the different highlights of the island of Mauritius. Our starting point depends on the location of your accomodation. We may begin the tour with the Trou aux Cerfs volcanic crater, visit the Tamarin waterfalls, the holy lake (Grand Bassin), the Alexandra Falls, the Black River Gorges View Point and Chamarel with its Seven Coloured Earths. From there, we drive to the south coast to Maconde (a spectacular hairpin curve) and then via Gris Gris (the weeping rock) back to your accommodation. On request, we can customize the tour individually if you let us know in advance.
