Which clothes to wear
Mauritius has a mild to hot and humid climate all year round. Between June and August, a light jacket for the tour “swimming with dolphins” would be appropriate; this also applies to tours in the forest. Comfortable clothing is required in general and special footwear is only necessary for the hiking tours. Sun protection during our hot summers is absolutely necessary and there should be an umbrella and/or light rain protection in the car all year round. For all boat tours, you need to bring dry clothes to change into. Should it get wet during the hikes, you should also bring a change of clean trousers.
The hotels are usually happy to provide their guests with an umbrella in the room or at the reception to take with you.
